KonMari… regrouping & hitting the reset button
Just got my copy of ‘spark joy’.
I needed to ‘center’ myself after feeling so out of control every single time I peeked inside the room where all discarded items go to be processed!
Yesterday, I tackled the “war” room. I packed several bags of items for donations and loaded my trunk. And, then I invested hours upon hours taking photos of the items to post online to sell. On eBay.
which was used for my sons’
school projects.
When they needed an ’emergency’
picture, I had my handy camera!
The beauty of selling items online is simple. I get some ‘fun’ money! And there is a new owner who can continue to cherish this item – giving it a new life and purpose. Everyone wins, for sure.
….and after bags and bags of garbage have been thrown away…..after my second trip to local charities for donations…..and after my items were listed on eBay to recoup some of my initial investment…..I’m feeling at peace again.
