KonMari….. Week 3 ….Kon-tentment

Even my Chi-grandson can relax
after 2 weeks of KonMari

Beginning Week 3 provides a feeling of accomplishment and contentment.

Without a hint of exaggeration, I had absolutely NO idea that the PAPER category would take more than 1 full week.

As I wrote in a previous post, the emotional rollercoaster of discovering a receipt from a great family trip versus the necessary documentation of a really nasty situation….caused me to pause…..and do some needed reflection.

And as tempted as I was, I didn’t rush the paper process.

I not only leaned-in – I jumped into my puddles of paper and got pretty muddy, indeed. But now, I feel a lightness and levity that I have not felt in years. For true!

KOMONO
The list of categories!!!!

On this gloomy Monday morning after beginning the Komono section, I made a wise decision to focus on my ‘war’ room. That’s where all things go to be sold online….sent to local consignment stores…donated to charities….or given to a family member who expressed a desire to have a particular item.

As disturbing as this picture is to me…
I am delighted to start sorting
and sending these items off
to a new owner who really
wants them!

After clearing this room this afternoon, I feel confident that I can restart Komono in the morning. I really am feeling an enormous need to get this room under control before moving forward.

Eager and Enthusiastic about my third week of tidying!

Thank you very much for joining me in my journey!
