There are STILL undecided voters!
Yes! There are undecided voters. STILL. You know how I know that for a fact? Because I was one of them until last week. More about that in a moment….
This is my final post in my COVID-19 Series.
No, I don’t think the devastating COVID Pandemic is over. But I’m finished writing about it. And you deserve to read about inspiring topics when you click on My Written Thoughts.

Today, COVID updates are mostly political opinion pieces.
The media is slanting COVID data to present the most convincing argument for their political position – whether it’s a Democratic or Republican orientation. The scientific purity of information that we (average Americans) are receiving via television or online…is usually tainted with an obvious political biasness.
The so-called medical experts (no names here) are dipping their big toe – and sometimes feet – into the political pond….and that is not a good thing. I’ve never witnessed well-known medical authorities ‘privately‘ criticizing a national party during an election year so loudly the public reads about it in daily news feeds.
The health and safety of the average citizen in suburbia are just secondary in the hateful rhetoric on BOTH sides of the political aisle. [Just between you and me, I visit the John Hopkins website daily for my COVID information.]
Let me be clear. Both major parties are guilty of passive-aggressive games and aggressive-aggressive speech. It is not one-sided.
As I’ve stated before, I am a centrist/independent voter. I vote for a person and their policy….party doesn’t factor into my voting decision.
In 2016, my early presidential choice was Carly Fiorina.
In 2020, my early favorite presidential candidate was a Democratic female. I was very disappointed that she dropped out of the race early on and was not actually chosen as the Democratic VP running mate. And then, I watched the Amy Coney Barrett hearings this past week. The way my once favorite candidate questioned Judge Barrett was enough to convince me to stop watching the hearings. Done. Finished.
I hope both political parties STOP pretending to care about personal decency and Saving the Soul of America. It is embarrassing to claim this campaign slogan and then address Judge Barrett in such a manner. Or is this the party platform for like-minded people ONLY?
So now, America has one less undecided voter…I will now cast my presidential ballot based on POLICY alone. Economic Policy.
