What to Expect from MWT

Hello again.

As promised, this post is about what to expect from My Written Thoughts.

In preparation for MWT, I read a lot of blogs and magazine articles. I wanted to find out what type of information was already available.

I sincerely believe, there is a place for each and every type of: Post. Article. Message. Writer. From Haute couture… to cooking… to couponing… to chronic complaining. Love them all. Great stuff.

Having said that… let me tell you, upfront and directly, what MWT is not.

MWT will be different…not a replica of content already out there.

I won’t narrate the mundane minutia of my every minute. No post about deciding what to wear to a wedding. Will not detail my search for a new dishwasher. And definitely will not document my every move and my every thought.

My aspiration for MWT is to give you, The Reader, meaningful life advice on a myriad of germane topics. I will be writing about lessons learned during every single stage of my life.

MWT will provide practical information with a new perspective. You may find some of my ideas to be unconventional and avant-garde… even on general topics and common issues.

Here’s a sneak preview of a few upcoming posts.

  • Choosing Public, Private or Parochial Schools
  • Becoming your Dyslexic Child’s Educational Advocate
  • Teaching your Preschooler to Read
  • How to Help your High School Student Apply to College
  • Small Ways to Make a Big Impact on your Child’s Life
  • Parenting a Child who is an Aspiring Athlete
  • Easy Organizational Tips for Clearing the Clutter
  • Buying the ‘Big Things’ on a Budget

In short, I want to send meaningful messages via easy-to-read copy. I want to cover subjects that are pertinent and important to you. And I cannot fail to mention, there will be plenty of ink dedicated to fun and frivolity to take a break from the serious stuff.

My goal is to send quality content worthy of a few minutes in your busy day.

But most importantly, I hope to send Positive Energy through my written words.

Stay tuned. We’re going to have a good time.

Tomorrow, I’ll introduce my sons and make a small confession about my writing.
